Hi guys! I have been wanting a patchwork hippie skirt for a VERY. LONG. TIME. I finally got around to making one! It's my first tiered skirt and my first patchwork skirt. It didn't take as long as I thought it would, but it was still very tedious at times. Anyhoo, on to the pics!

Here it is, in all its glory!

Showing the glorious circumference, both sides.

One sided circumference.

Twirly action shot!

I feel like the bottom sort of poofs out more than I wanted it to. I think I know how to fix this for next time. C and C are always welcome!

I love the colors - perfect for spring! Normally I'm not into the patchwork skirt thing, but I could see myself wearing this on Easter, running around with the nieces and nephews on the lawn Smiley

Thanks! I wasn't wild about them, but the more I look at the skirt, the more they grow on me. Next up will be bright primary colors or earthy tones.

It's absolutely beautiful! You did a great job. And the colors are fab, it's a good excuse to make different colors and tones for every season or mood! Smiley

Aw, thanks for the nice words, guys! I think I'm going to start a green, yellow, and brown one next.
