How do you display your stockings?

We have a bay window at the end of the living room and we always put our tree there, then hang the stockings on the window edges on either side.  Since there's only four of us at the moment, it works out perfectly and always looks great. 

When I was little and we lived in Florida, we always stacked stockings on the couch in a neat little row on Christmas Eve
