Stuff a Small Flat Rate Box for Halloween!(Sign up CLOSED ; Send out 10/21)

I walked down to the post office and picked up my boxes (got an extra, just in case) today.  Those boxes are actually pretty small (you can't really tell from the picture on the USPS site).  The dimensions are approximately 8.5 x 5.25 x 1.75 (measuring the outside of the folded box).  Now to plotting!!

I'm always amazed by what I can get into a small box though, or maybe I just send a lot of small things. lol

haHA!!! i was just in the closet in the guest room digging around for a box to send something else in, and you'll never guess what i found!!! a small flat-rate box!!! amazing, right?? this swap was destiny......

Welcome to everyone who has signed up so far. I'm really happy to see such quick responses. This is my first time organizing so their was just a little nervousness that no one would actually sign up. Luckily I didn't have to have swap anxiety for long!

While we wait for the swap to start...anyone want to share any of their Halloween crafting/decorating ideas? I always start decorating the house on the first day of fall. I can't wait to get started!

My favorite decoration is this squished witch I stick under a pumpkin on the porch. It's not handmade, it's from dept 56, but I'd love to try to make a large one. It's just striped legs with witch shoes you place under any object and they look like the Wicked Witch under the house in Wizard of Oz.

I found some classic monster movie posters at the dollar store about 8 years ago.  I want to frame and hang them year round but my hubby isn't too keen on that idea.

And as for decorations, I just went out and got my halloween branch out of my yard today!  Seems to be a tradition every year to find a really pretty branch, paint it black, stick it in a vase, and decorate my little halloween tree.   Love the way it turns out, and it's so easy!

Whoa...I wish my dollar store had that! In the family room (where the TV is) my bf and I want to use old sci-fi and classic horror movie posters to decorate the walls. He's a sci-fi buff and I'm the rabid horror fan.

Looks like I'll be closing down sign ups soon. (Maybe even today!) As soon as we have the last three people I'll work on partnering people up.

Also, even though it looks like partnering will happen much sooner than I expected I am going to keep the same send date of 10/21. I figure this way it gives more time for crafting/box stuffing *HOWEVER* if you would like to send earlier than 10/21 you still can (though I would at least give yourself two weeks of crafting time), and I will be giving feedback once your partner has confirmed with me that they have received your package.
