I love the makeup kit and the map pendant idea! Fictional place like Oz or Middle Earth would be super cool too....

aisy, I'd love to do a personal swap! Shipping funds are a little low right now, so maybe in the future sometime.

onyxnox, per your request (and for everyone else, too).....

It's hard to get a good photo of these, but the glaze is brown that breaks to blue in the imprints

I had forgotten to mention that the backs of the buttons and the acorn tray are not glazed, they are just the natural stoneware color with a canvas imprint.

If anyone has any questions about these feel free to pm me! Smiley

As for me, I can't WAIT for the drawing! There is so much greatness in this singular little thread, just about everything posted has become my new 'favorite'.

Oh, the suspense!  Cheesy

Here is my offering - the falling leaves clutch.  It is made of a wool blend felt and has a snap closure.  I hand painted some fabric for the leaves and then appliqued them with free motion embroidery.  The lining has a pocket and there is also a clasp for keys.  It is approximately 11 inches wide.  I hope you like it!!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

hey hockamama, is that pendant Burlington VT....LOVE it up there...... if I won yours you wouldnt even have to do another... we spend the summers there.....great change from South West Florida!!

As a resident of the Burlington VT area I can say that the map must be from another state, maybe NC? It is awesome, though, and the clutch too!

The critter is very nearly done, and I hope to post pics as soon as things are done drying and maybe if the sun decides to show itself for a brief moment...

I've been watching paint dry all day, hoping to get the pictures done before the sun went down.  Here are my offerings for the swap.

Four fat quarter or larger pieces of sunpainted fabric. From the top left, they are all of my people and animal stencils combined, Golden Rain Tree, Moons, clouds and stars and Japanese Maple and flower stencils.

Seven badges made just for this swap.  Because these are going to craftsters, I'm leaving them sew on but including the glue in the package.  I also left one blank so you can make it your own.

The colors in the picture are as close to real life as I can get them indoors on a rainy day.
