OK, we are leaving for the cottage tomorrow, so I am thinking up my usual list of projects I may do - don't hold me to this one hundred percent, but I am joining this swap and my items may be a combination of the following - knit fingerless mitts/gloves, a beaded necklace, or a wire wrapped pendant, or a beaded cuff, or earrings.  Depends on wht I feel like making when I am away!

I just sent in my questions Grin  I just can't resist the suprise aspect.

As far as what folks have mentioned maybe making:  Love snakes, pillowcases, artsy yarn (especially stuff that can be felted onto things), stuffies (BIG yes here), and totes...one can never have enough bags in my opinion.

Now as far as my "best"....my main theme seems to be odd LOL.  I can make all kinds of different stuff, but I'm a bit worried if I make something I like, it might not be to the taste of the "winner"  SO, I'm thinking a ploy clay covered USB cute monster critter, a huge tote bag (possibly an abstract quilted something or other...I don't do traditional quilty stuff), OO and I have a ton of jeans, so perhaps a recycled jeans bag?  hhhmmmm....now I have too many ideas LOL Grin

Ahhh!  Your sweet Belladune Grin  I'll keep my fingers crossed you draw me hehehe

Oo is it "legal" to make something and decorate it after you know who the winner is?  Like a bag and then add the design to the flap?

Well, you don't actually get to 'know' who you send to Smiley  That's the other half of the surprise aspect of this swap, it goes both ways.  LOL!  That's what SHE said...ROFL!!

You get a name and address....soooo....you COULD go through all the members' profiles in the swap and if they have their city/state on there, MAYBE you could figure out who it is to personalize like that....it's up to you on doing that kind of leg-work....and....not everyone has their city/state on their profile, as I've found out from other swaps Wink

Ooh... you know... I've been meaning to join one of these Raffle swaps ^_^ Would anyone be interested in a small basket of handmade unscented soaps? Currently on my curing rack I have Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey; Pumpkin and Apples; Olive Oil and Coconut Milk; and Calendula and Chamomile Tea. I would offer my scented stuff, but with all of the fragrance allergies out there, I think it's better to be safer with the unscented stuff!

Sapphire double checks allergies before sending you names. That way if you are allergic to wool for example you don't end up with a wool scarf.

Also Pumpkin soap sounds very cool and perfect for the fall season!
