Neat. Thanks for the tut. I have to tell you that I was at an arts/crafts sale a few years ago and someone was selling necklaces like that for something like $50 a pop. I loved them but was outraged by how much they wanted.

man, those are so groovy! I am definitely going to make some as soon as I get all of the gear...

by the way... wanted to mention that some of those stamps might be worth a lot; the japanese one with the fish says "nippon" which means that the stamp is pre ww2... Smiley the electrolux lady in town collects antiques and she says if you ever find anything that says "made in nippon" or "nippon" that it's definitely worth something because anything post ww2 would have "japan" instead. thought that was cool.

A little different way of soldering for this project is shown in this Stampington video:
http://stampington.com/postscript/2009/december/postscript_12082009_video.html

I may need to try this way, instead of holding the solder in one hand and melting globs of solder onto my pendant.... I may be an old dog, but I'm not so old that I can't learn SOME new tricks.

i use the clamps and same sort of techique except my leadfree solder has a flux core.  i found it easier as the flux can get sticky and messy.
metal polish is easy to find in cheap auto stores
