Correcting a shape

Hi.  I just recently discovered needle felting and decided to dive in.  I ordered a pattern for a hedgehog and long story made short -  instructions called for an egg shape to begin the body, but I have ended up with more of a twinkle shape (hmm twinkles).   Is there anyway for me to correct this?

You should be able to correct your shape by felting the ends(sides?) tighter - in other words, use your needle on the ends to compress them.

And if that doesn't help enough (it should quite a bit), you can always add a bit of roving to the other end and jab away as you did to start with.
