I came up with this idea at work the other day and couldn't wait for the weekend to come to put it on canvas. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I am having fun melting crayons!

One of my friends really liked this so I decided to give it to him as an upcoming wedding present and made another. I thing I like this one better, the darker brown crayons look better with the pink flowers.

Wow, that's such a creative way to put your own take on melted crayons! It looks beautiful!

Great minds think alike? lol. I made a melted crayon tree as well...  It turned out pretty good except I tried to melt flecks of orange/red/yellow/brown on top like fall leaves. Unfortunately, when I left it outside to melt on there, the crayon (Crayola even!) somehow separated leaving a white waxy film around the leaves.

I love that you did a spring tree though! Great results!

Ooh that sounds pretty! How big are the flecks? Could you glue them down instead?

I love this. How are the flowers made? Are they also melted crayons?
