I still haven't figured out what I want to make! I have a three day weekend this weekend so I'm going to make myself sit down and decide. Too many good ideas! Wink

Hi ladies, I have my plushie all figured out & just need to cut it out of the fabric & sew & stuff it. It's One I found online & I remade it to fit how I wanted it to work. So I hope it works. Wish me luck.  Wink Thanks

I am also using a well-known pattern, adapted a bit for my purposes. For some reason, it is easier for me to follow a pattern and go my own way than it is for me to dream up something new.

Same with me.  Making up my own dotee is one thing but a doll is is much harder to do.  Maybe one day I will attempt that.  If I had to make my own stuffie/plushie I might be able to do that; but making my own doll...well that's a different story.  Speaking of dolls, I sewed up my doll today.  I put the feet on backwards so I had to frog it and re-set them.

Oh I'm sorry you had to rip out your dolls feet & re-set them. I've done that many times & other things too. Yeah I do like to use patterns, but I also like to design my own patterns.  :DI  just get worried it won't work & nobody will like it if I do get done & so on. I have designed my own doll, I did it for a contest. I didn't win anything. But it was fun doing it. It was design after my granddaughter.

I stuffed my doll body today and so far it looks ok however she looks kind of naked so I'ill have to start on her dress.  I did have to tweak it a bit to fix something I didn't like.

I hope everyone is busily crafting away. Check in and say "hi" if you haven't in a while.
I am at the stage where I pin the arms and legs and then sew around the body - ugh. My least favorite thing - I hope it is successful.

Then, like mamarose, on to the wardrobe!
