Hey guys! After many trials and failures, I finally managed to design and sew these two corsets for myself.

The black Bodyhugger is long enough to reach my hips. If I remember well, the longest rib I used was 45cm. Why I wanted to make it so long was, because I didn't want my corset to squeeze my body in the wrong places and create new shapes curves where there shouldn't be any:P Wearing this makes me realize all the little bizarre etiquette rules of the ladies in the old times: such as why a proper lady should only sit on the edge of a hard chair (because, it's the only place you can sit, wearing a long corset!) and so on. Life, the universe and everything suddenly became so clear! Haha:D

In contrast, I made the white underbust Bloody Mary corset short in both ends. The longest rib should be around 25cm. It gives me much more freedom - dancing is pleasure. However, there are still limist: no backflips. Hehehe:D

It's incredible how feminin wearing a corset makes me feel!

Tutorials for drafting a simple pattern:
I whipped the instructions into more widely understandable shape and included them in my blog. Here's the post: http://corsetoholism.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/how-to-draft-a-corset/
