because two heads are better than one!!!

for a personal swap with ms sheepblue, i created these fine fellows.... well, maybe "brought together" is a more accurate term!
just look at 'em! you can tell they've got attitude! in my head they rather have a lot in common with those two fine fellows from the muppet show.... you know the ones i mean!
they arrived on my surgical table somewhat worse for wear....
and the things they had to say to me while i was doing a little selective amputation would make even the swarthiest sailor blush with shame!!!
snip snip snip fiddle fiddle cuss shift fiddle fiddle trim brace cuss fiddle fiddle aaaaaannnnnnddddd a little hot glue:
and my patients were up and about and feeling better almost right away!!!
(i'm sad to report, however, that their language failed to improve much ~ cheeky buggers!)
hope you like!

They are just so happy it's bizarre lol. Even in the pictures they're a riot, and I'm sure they never stop talking once I leave the room

So amazingly creative! I picked up to skellies yesterday at Walgreens and my husband cut them apart for me. I got them finally finished up and here is my take on your project.
Thanks for sharing this idea! They look like something you'd see in a Ripley's Museum!
I used my hot glue gun to attach these guys at the hip, the pelvic bone and the ribs. erica_tattoos was able to mesh her twins ribs together for a tighter looking fit than I was able to do with mine. My husband suggested some epoxy to better hold them tight, so I used some steel epoxy (that's all I had) over the hot glue, and then covered it up with some slightly tinted white craft paint (steel epoxy dries to a gunmetal gray finish).
For size comparison. Cujo was weirded out by these guys. They started singing "O Solo Mio" when I took this picture. When Cujo left, they started teasing him and then moved on to singing Irish drinking songs. It's going to be a long Halloween season!

thanks guys! i actually made these with the intention of mounting them in a box but they were so fun to play and interact with i let 'em stay free...
yeah, if you're gonna try this yourself i'd definitely recommend getting in the toolbox or the garden shed and digging up a pair of metal snips or garden shears... there was a lot of snipping snipping snipping involved to get the best tightest fit, so having to labor over the cuts would definitely be a major hassle... i'd also highly recommend starting your first cuts leaving more than you ultimately intend to so that as you prune here to make it lay better there etc you'll still have plenty of room to work...
excited to see your fellows complete!!
