big, big, big-big love!! CLOGGED with photos!!! [anatomical heart]

so i recently had a personal swap with the lovely ms sheepblue! and in stalking her it became pretty clear pretty quick that she had a BIG thing for anatomical hearts.... a thing SO big, in fact, it was going to take a pretty darn big anatomical heart to fill it!! and as i'm always eager to oblige.... may i present - a giant heart to hug n love on!!! Cheesy

hand and machine stitched in 4 different colors of fleece, then i drew up some patterns and took them to my mom and sweet~talked her into crocheting the "fat" for me... appliqued that on and then built the "veins" on top using more fleece!

aaaand here's a pic of my son with the heart in mid-progress doing a quality-control check to ensure the heart was reaching proper levels of huggability and cuddlefulness.....

in fact it was SO huggable and cuddleful that i had to sick a pack of rabid dingoes on him to get it back.... Grin

hahaha thanks you guys! it was really fun to make and really not that hard, just kinda complicated.... i made this and a giant thomas fleece plush costume last year, and it's made me really wanna work with fleece plush soft sculptures more. they are mondo fun!

and sheepblue.... Grin
