This is my frist post. I got my sewing machine only a few months ago, but I fell in love with it immediately.  Wink

I had a skirt what I loved, but years passed by and it got too small for me.  Undecided
I figured I could make a vest of it. This was my first time I made a linening.

So, I am sure it is pretty easy for everyone (else). As a pattern I used I vest what fits me. I thought it would be funny to use the skirt upside down and then the vest would have upside down pockets and zipper. The zipper part was  impossible so I had to cut it out later.

So here are the pictures:

I know it would have been neater if I could have sewed first all the linening parts together, then the outside and then sew them together. But it seemed much easier to my to actually first sew the linening parts to the denim.

and ta-da: (I used a little donkey iron-on pattern in the front  Cheesy)

What do you think? I am satisfied.  Cool
