Hello! I have not logged into Craftster for over 2 years. That is because I have been very busy away at school trying to turn this crafting obsession into a profession! I will be earning a degree in design very soon. I have picked up many interesting skills along the way, travelled across the world, and fell in love with metal working. Slowly I will be re-released to the craftster community-- where it has all started-- hopefully with fresher eyes and higher standards for my own work. Taking a look around, I am so glad that the community is still going strong and vibrant as ever. Thank you all!

But here is a sneak peak of a recent project: Copper flatware.

They are not usable because copper is too soft. It was more of an exercise in forming sheet metal and a study of proportions. Tons more work will be posted when I eventually get my website going. Any feedback is welcomed Smiley

I have a real, useable knife shaped like that and I find that most people aren't sure which side is the cutting edge so.......if you were to ever make a useable set, I, personally, wouldn't like the knife that shape, but that's just my opinion.

Useable or not, they're lovely. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations, and yay you for getting a design degree!
