I found a great tutorial for these bad boys on a craft blog and thought that they would be a fun little gift for all my friends who loves the reading!



They take up a nice chunk of time: you need to rip up a used book, cut them into little rectangles then make them into little cones with  hot glue... then you glue them onto a star shape. I put two inchie sized squares in the middle with a little gem for most of them but three have cute buttons.





 I have no idea how to package them but I plan on giving them out in threes. Everything's better in threes! Let me know what you think!

I'm hoping (with one week left...) to make a paper ornament tree this year and these would be a perfect addition!  Love the ones with the buttons in the middle....would you be able to tell me what size you cut the rectangles to?
