I made this one afternoon a couple of weeks ago, tried to post about it at the time but the photo uploader wouldn't co-operate so I gave up! I didn't have any particular fairytale in mind, in case you try to place all of the elements...It's an amalgamation of lots of familiar themes from fairytales in general. The writing really isn't that good, for some reason I wrote it in a very different style to usual - you know when you start something badly and it won't go right? - but I liked the actual design so I kept it anyway! I can't make the same design twice but perhaps if I keep this I can try something similar (with better text!) The whole design measures about 11cm x 8cm, and the quote is from CS Lewis. The second photo is the closest to the true colour...

I think it definitely came out right! I absolutely love it - it's amazing!!

I am in absolute awe - I struggle to cut a straight line with a ruler, let alone anything else - it's fantastic!!

Oh, how lovely! What a good color choice, too--it really evokes old-fashioned fairytale illustrations.

I love all of the little elements and details you put in there.  I think the text is nice and easy to read.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this.  It's beautiful!!!  Totally WISTing.  All the little details are so intriguing; there's so many hidden pretties.  Looking at this makes me feel like I'm going on a journey through some magical place.

What did you use to do the actual cutting?

Amazing! I have thought of making something similar to this and whenever I have time I'm going to try. But I'm sure I can't make even anything close as beautiful as this! I adore all the little details, the dragons the unicorn... It's absolutely stunning.
