This summer I visited smallhold and I finally get to post pics of the wonderful crafty afternoon we had.
One of her neighbours has a drum carder and as I still had some uncarded fleece left we decided to give it a try;

And it took us a little time to find out this was probably not the right way of using it..

Some of the wool, before and after carding:

And someone who was checking if we were doing it right:

And smallhold also learned how to use a drop spindle!  Cheesy

We had a lot of fun that day. That carding drum is fantastic. Luckily the neighbour is into anything crafty as well so she'll hang on to it.
Meanwhile I've got a new addiction. Spinning!  Grin
Pay no attention to the laundry that's drying outside.
And faithful Shepherd dog Nima keeps a watchful eye. Wool... shepherd dog... get it?  Wink
