I made this dress out of a linen skirt from my mother in law and a blue silk scarf, for my 4 years old daughter for her first day at school.

That is completely adorable. My daughter, also 4, would flip for something like that. You did a great job and it's wonderful that so much of it is recycled/repurposed!
