Cackle - love the witch birdies! Every self-respecting bird should wear a hat, right? Are the branches on the green part of the paper design, or added? I really like the vine-y effect.

Irid3sc3nt - love the pumpkin "house" and the pop-up kitty!

MandyKaye - such a fun house! I love that the door opens into an endless corridor. I just might use that idea one day - thanks!

Missing Willow - you slay me with the felt zombies! My favorite is still dracula-zombie, but honestly I'd let any of 'em nibble on my brains... they're so cute!

I'm designing house #3 in my head and feeling a wee bit of pressure to finish. My new printer should be delivered tomorrow so I can print more vintage goodness!

irid3sc3nt: That (the orange kitty and JOL) is actually vintage-ish(?) ribbon! I found it in my super large stash inherited from my mother lol.

Killam Creative: The "corridor" is actually a picture from one of my college history texts of a medeival cathedral. I felt it to be fit for a halloween house lol.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days -- work has been just crazy lately.  But my houses are done and I hope to have them in the mail by Saturday! And I really will get pictures up too, I swear.

I have received a darling house from mandykaye.
The front view, with my initial atop the door:


And when you open the brad/doorknob you find:

A tiny graveyard view and a shot of a Victorian parlor. I can't tell if that is a large doll or a dead girl (as in the Victorian mourning photos), but either way, it is pretty spooky.

The back:

The color of the fabric is truer on this shot than the first. I quite like that fabric - I'd love to perhaps do a little personal swap with you if you happen to have some more of it in need of a new home.

The house came wrapped up in cheerful halloween tissue, too.  Thank you very much mandykaye.

I'm so glad you like your house! That is a doll in the picture lol. That fabric is actually ribbon/trim and sadly I only have one roll.. It would be neat to have a large peice of fabric with that print!
