Blocking Top Down 1 Pc Cardigans

I'm a new member and this is my first post, so bear with me. I'm 71 yo and have been knitting most of my life but have only been knitting top-down sweaters for about 3 years.

I am almost finished with a top-down raglan sleeved cardigan with cables of my own design. I would like to know if anyone has successfully blocked such a project. I don't want to flatten the cables or the ribbin at collar, cuffs, hem and button/buttonhole bands but the rest of it needs some blocking. Since it would be hard to pin this down and it's going to be double layer since it's an all in one piece knitted project, I have no idea how to accomplish this. Any suggestions? Thanks!
