I got the coolest package yesterday from Phrixy. I will get pictures later this weekend and post them. It's too dark and overcast right now. I got a killer Gryffindor Quittich jacket, an AWESOME book of monsters with painted pictures inside, earrings which were hidden in the pocket of the jacket, very cool handpainted kitties and hedwig, a quill, some pretty yarn, chocolate which Alijah got a hold of. I honestly don't think she would need it, I think the dementors would be the ones who would need it after a run-in with her! and a jelly rat which I have hidden from Alijah. It is all so awesome! When I got home last night and opened the box I took the cardigan off which I had been wearing and instantly donned my new jacket!

Thank you so much Phrixy!

Well, according to the dc#, my partner received a week ago. I haven't heard from him, so I hope he liked everything. Here's what I sent:

He said his favorite class was Care of Magical Creatures, so since we both loved My Little Pony, I sent a My Little Thestral. The "bones" and eyes glow in the dark.

His favorite shop was Eeylop's Owl Emporium, so I stenciled this t-shirt.

And finally, I made this Ravenclaw writing set. The box is modge-podged with HP themed paper and the sides are pages from Order of the Phoenix (the Care of Magical Creatures scenes and the scene where Harry first sees the thestrals). The quill pen has "Wit beyond measure..." in gold letters and the notebook finishes it with "...is man's greatest treasure."

Sorry about picture quality! I forgot to bring my camera to work so I had to make do with my cell phone. Anyway, I hope they were well received. Now if only I'd get a package of my own...  Undecided

First I'd like to give credit where it's due so here was my inspiration for the book of monsters: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=297233.msg3385568;topicseen#msg3385568

Second even though I haven't put up pictures I have received my awesome package from Meggy. I will put up pictures ASAP. But I got the package after looking on my porch and finding it behind the door. Poor thing had been sitting out there almost 24 hours I quickly grabbed and took it inside. I found my large item first. An epic (and huge) Ravenclaw scarf. And when I say huge I mean it. It comes past my knees but I love huge scarves. It's extremely warm and my better half keeps stealing it even if it's not his house colors (he's a slytherin lol). Second I saw a little brown ball with wings. A brown snitch was what I thought it was. Upon picking it up I found out it was an adorable owl. I have named him Fred after one of my favorite characters. My favorite thing about Fred is his wings were made so I can actually move them and they'll stay like that Cheesy Right now he is currently perched on my sewing machine. Then my last thing is a potions necklace for my favorite character Snape Smiley It has a purple potion in it (perhaps Dreamless Sleep Potion mentioned in book four? I can't remember any other purple potions). Thank you Meggy!

Stationary paper

A wand

And last but not least.... A monster book of monsters! Cute!
