I made this by changing a few things on a pattern, adding a longer strap, zipper pocket, and dual pockets and using 4 different fabrics instead of the 2 the pattern called for. it's a bit wrinkled on the inside but i'm chalking it up to the fabric because i pressed the crap out of the lining for 30 minutes even with a damp press cloth :s

i made this for her because she's making me a custom painted sign to hang in my kitchen that says "Home Is Where The Army Sends Us" so i guess it's like our own little swap:)

(ps: there's a wet mark on the flap because something got onto it at some point. wiped it with a bit of detergent and some warm water and whatever was there is gone, it's just still wet and hasn't dried yet.)

Thanks to both of you! Smiley The friend I made this for said she didn't care about shape but she anted a relatively small purse and she didn't care about specific colors but she wanted it to POP so I picked 3 fun fabrics:)
