I used white chocolate for instead of the 'white candy coating' (can you even get that in Australia?)

We can, but its so expensive that when you taste it you will cry in disgust and morn the loss of your $12.95.

Wilton make candy coating, other company's call them candy wafers. Essentially it is white cooking chocolate that has so much palm oil and flavorings that it can no longer be legally called white chocolate (in the US).

Palm oil is what Cadbury tired adding to its chocolate when everyone revolted against it back in 07 or 08. Palm oil is also one of the worse trans fats consumed by humans.

I HATE PALM OIL!!!!! Sure, some is sustainably farmed, but a huge portion is not. Add to that the horrible health effects. I have no problem with people choosing to eat it (or those KFC 'bunless' burgers...) but there needs to be rules about labeling so palm oil must be identified. I really don't like tricky labelling.

On the other hand, this look very yummy and seems to have gone ok with the much-nicer-sounding white choc.

I hate palm oil too - for the same reason.

Found an interesting article the other day about Coca-Cola and how it's made. Apparently the Australian version is much nicer than the American because they make it with cane sugar here and corn syrup there - I imagine chocolate and such things are probably different for much the same reason, but being different does't always mean it's going to be better - IMO Australian made stuff is often much nicer.

I recieved my package from Oodelally today. Australia post did hold it hostage over the weekend, but it arrived today!!! First up is my garden tiles:

Sorry for the bad lighting. I think they are awesome! Not sure I can put them out in my garden though! They are too good!

Extras Lauren kindly included was a cute cushion cover that she must have picked up in Japan and a 'tidy room' award - My dd1 has just started to tidy her own room, so this will work well. I also recieved 10 great blue inchies to add to my growing collection.

We have also been doing a personal swap, and I recieved these great cushion covers - Birds on a wire and Birds in a tree.....At night! We decided that blue cushion covers would be better with me having 2 grubby fingered kids! Here they are....

Thank you  Thank you Thank you Lauren. I love it all.

I think the cushions werer a labour of love. We both underestimated how much work would be in them. But they turned out great.
