Another cake from MsKatie and myself, and our BIGGEST yet.


It is a 3 tier funfetti and chocolate cake for our cousin's baby shower (which was a great success).
She doesn't want to know if it is a boy or girl, so we stuck to something all kids love....Dr.Seuss!
Each layer was to celebrate her favorite books as a kid,
Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, The Cat in the Hat, and Horton hears a Who

How do you keep your fondant fresh as you create the pieces? Mine always looks dried out.

How do you keep your fondant fresh as you create the pieces? Mine always looks dried out.

If I need to go back and fix/adjust a piece and the outside has started to "crust", I do a folding technique.

I also keep my colors in large wrapped spheres and break away pieces as needed.
