My son seems to always get shafted when it comes to making things for him, as opposed to my daughter.  Girly things come easier to me.  But he's got his first two teeth loose right now, so I decided to hurry up and do something for him.  I saw monster pillow/stuffie swap that was going on, and took my inspiration from there.  I decided I wanted a something a little extra to add to him though, so I gave him "hair".  And my little monster is missing a tooth because I accidentally cut too far, but it works, seeing as its for my son's teeth that fall out.  Maybe the monster lost a tooth also?

I think he's adorable even toothless.  The hair really works, imo.

Love it! When I saw it, I thought I had missed it in the swap gallery. Bravo for being a good mom and making this for your son! I think it looks a bit like Oscar the Grouch! Love the missing tooth too!

He does sorta look like Oscar the Grouch.  Smiley  It was most boyish fabric I had in my stash at that moment.

I've never done a swap before, and I don't think I'm eligible for another week or two, but I'll keep an eye out for it.  Thanks for the vote of confidence.  I wasn't sure I had what it takes to do a swap, I've seen some pretty amazing things in all the galleries when I was snooping.  Smiley

FeliciaStayDRCG - looking over the swap rules for Craftster, you would eligible for swapping after a month from the time you signed up.  So, you could check for sure with the organizers, but it looks like you would be eligible to sign up this coming week - I'm warning you, however, these swap people are very good at convincing you to become a swap addict - just saying!!  You can check out those swap rules under the Community tab, then Organized Craft Swaps, you'll see a board titled Rules of Swapping.  Go check it out and get ready to swap, girl!

Awesome monster for your son - totally love the hair you added!   Cheesy
