I first discovered Lalaloopsies in the ToysRus store on Times Square during a business trip to NY last January, and recently I found that ToysRus in France had some dolls, but only the first releases from last year. I ordered the Silly Hair Crumbs from England because I couldn't resist her.

The top is inspired from a pattern by Beth Webber :

The petticoat is based on this tutorial :

Every time we take a trip to target, I try to convince my hub that I really need a lalaloopsy doll.  If my niece was just a few years older I think I could get away with it. I love her outfit and her little cakes.

A new outfit for Suzette :

Shoe pattern :

I have used a 1.5 mm hook and Cebelia n10 thread from DMC. I crochet quite tight so depending on your tension you might need to use a smaller hook and/or finer thread.

Row 1 : ch 12. Starting 2nd ch from hook, and using only one side of the loops, 2 sc in first ch, sc in each ch until last ch, 2 sc in last ch. Turn and continue on the other side : 2 sc in first ch, sc in each ch until last ch, 2 sc in last ch. Join with first sc, turn, ch 1. (26 sc)

Row 2 : 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc 11 times, 2sc in next sc twice, sc in each sc 11 times, 2 sc in last sc. Join, turn, ch1. (30 sc)

Row 3 : 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc 13 times, 2sc in next sc twice, sc in each sc 13 times, 2 sc in last sc. Join, turn, ch1. (34 sc)

Row 4 : sc in each sc, join, turn, ch 1. (34 sc)

Row 5 : sc in each sc, join, turn, ch 1. (34 sc)

Row 6 : sc in each sc, join, turn, ch1. (34 sc)

Row 7 : sc in the first 11 sc, (skip next sc, sc in next sc) six times, sc in the last 11 sc, join, turn. (28 sc)

Row 8 : change to contrasting color. Slip stitch in each sc, when you come to the correct place to make the strap, ch 9, then starting from 4th ch from hook, sc in each ch using the underside loop (6 times) ; then continue with a slip stitch in each sc until end of row, join, finish off. Weave in the loose ends and sew a bead to close the strap. Make the other shoe in the same way with strap placed on the other side.
