I think I just knit the two stitches (front and back) together. She suggests a crochet bindoff, but why have an extra tool in you puff-kit?

Loudxmouse - when you knit front and back together - are you using a 3rd needle?  I'm trying to visualize it as I'd like to try these guys again, but can't figure the binding off

Can anybody on here give me a hand with starting my beekeeper a quilt? It keeps coming out with the stocking stitch on the inside as opposed to the outside and as a beginner I've no idea where I'm going wrong! Thankyou Smiley
