Unfortunately, I think it is a bit too rough.

I like KnitPicks Comfy worsted, and got two bewbs out of a $3 skein of yarn.  The big crafts stores (like Michael's and JoAnn's) don't carry it, but shipping is just a couple of bucks for a few skeins.

Two other yarns that are great at Lion brand Cotton Ease, which should give you 3-4 bewbs per skein, and CottonTots if you can find it.  (It's discontinued, but I seem to come across it in all sorts of places.)

I'm nearly finished with my lot for this year.  I had a big swap in the middle of October, which cut into my knitting time, but I finished 14 since the beginning of September.  Half of them are going to a drive on Ravelry, and the other half are going to a local charity that  distributes them.

It's been a lot of fun, and I hope you folks had some fun with the pattern.  I'll be back same time next year with another knit-along!
