I've been away from Craftster for a while, but I'm back with pics of some of the monkeys I've made in the interim!

The first monkey I made for my boyfriend at the time, a sort of in-costume-portrait of him in sock monkey form. The man in question being on the slender, tall side, I opted to make the monkey from a knee high sock, and the results were surprisingly cool. So, here is Lanky the pirate sock monkey!

Here he is with the man in question.

They get along swimmingly!

My lanky monkeys were quite popular- here is another one I made who's original sock ear went missing and needed replacing. His name is wonky, and he has socks and gloves.

Some normally sized monkeys- the wench was for the sister of Lanky's owner.

And finally the mini monkey- made with a child's sock. I got a bit obsessed with figuring out the results for different sized socks. Actually made one tiny tiny monkey from an infant sock- size one for whatever that means- which was adorable, but sadly I didn't get a photo before he was snatched up by a friend. He is sitting next to a recipe card for reference, so Aussie commercial supermarket shoppers will know how big he is  Smiley

Alright, sorry for overloading you with monkey pics!
