Second Annual Woodlands Folk Festival – Saturday, September 24, 2011.  “America’s First Lady of Roots Music” and six time Grammy nominee Maria Muldaur headlines a superb line-up of acoustic musicians and singer-songwriters at Woodlands – Long Island’s Community Folk Festival.  Muldaur will be joined by American Idol runner-up Caleb Hawley, whose "Folk-infused Rock 'n' Soul" has been wowing audiences across the country, as well as local favorites like Miles to Dayton and the Claudia Jacobs Band.  Little Feat Tribute.  Other performers include Sonny Meadows and Johnny Cuomo.  Includes music and games for kids.  Tickets are $20 at the gate, or $15 in advance - $5 children (3-16).  Information and tickets:  www.woodlandsfolkfest.org.  Woodlands Folk Festival is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook (www.UUFSB.org), a non-profit religious organization. 631-751-0297.
