I made this little guy for a secret Santa exchange I was part of last Christmas. He was made entirely in one day, from drafting the pattern to wrapping him up. Cutting pieces and sewing took about 8 hours since he's 98% handsewn (I used a sewing machine to quilt his wings) and small things are hard, haha. He's also interfaced to ensure the fleece doesn't stretch out of shape.

Slightly more detailed shot. Unfortunately, my camera washed out the colours a bit; he's a much richer/darker forest green colour and his eyes don't actually match his spikes.

Here you can see about how big he is compared to my hand. He measured about 4" long if I recall correctly.

Here he is all boxed up with the note I made for the girl I gave him to. I don't know her, so I like to imagine that they spend their time galavanting through the forest and getting into mischief (that's what I would do, at least).

I hope you like him as much as I do - I almost kept him for myself I like him so much. Tongue

He's just the right size to perch on your shoulder Anne McCaffrey style! I love him.

I would definitely be galavanting around the forest with him to! Jumping out at unsuspecting passers by with a roar =) Love him!
