i can very much relate to the mother saint postcard. when my mom passed away all i heard from everyone was how good she was and did so much and loved everyone. but me and her constantly fought. she would tell me (and complain to her sisters and other family) how i'm a bad daughter and what problems i give her and how come i cant be like my sister. we constantly butted heads and i didnt agree at all with alot of her rules. especially cuz they were all justified by "cause i said so" and not any real reasons. I always felt such resentment from her.
i can understand totally what this person is going through. I know i feel horrible for thinking such thoughts about my own mother and i can't even tell you how much guilt i have. its been three years and i barely starting to get past it.

to whomever wrote the postcard. thank you for sharing your secret.

I received my post card yesterday and will post it later today....several hours later, here it is!

It also says on the back  "yet I'm oddly turned on by how tight the man is gripping the woman in the picture"  I also received a note reassuring that this desire is not born from abuse and that more woman should try being in charge!

I am a little confused tho because it does say november for the swap but then at the bottom it names the art as "on top august 22 2005  12:18"  so I'm unclear if it is my november postcard or if it from a swap angel for one of my missing postcards...either way I like it!

Thank you so much to all of you for sending me your secrets, which kept me going. I really appreciated receiving them, and I am so sorry it's taken me so long to get back on track and that I'm posting these so late!

sedrasmom, I think that's pretty cool that you got to play a wheel-of-fortune type game with the television one.

I tried to post this the other day and thought it had gone through, but I guess not...

Here's my Sept. postcard:

It says, "I hate the way my body looks -- fat-- so I eat even more to feel better."

My Nov. postcard:

It says, "I love my dictionaries most of all my books."

Thanks for sharing your secrets!
