Zombie Teeth Specimen

A friend received a gift of a plaster casting of teeth from her friend (who got them from her dentist after it was no longer needed).  My friend asked me if I had any ideas of what do to with them and eventually I did.  Zombie teeth!  Harvested directly out of a zombie we'll call, ummmm, oh, I don't know... Karen Chang.  After her head was properly removed, of course - all safety precautions were closely and properly observed.



Zombie lifestyle choices are hell on dentition, as you can see.



I wonder if zombies choose not to floss, because when they get their hands in their mouth they want to eat 'em?  I may never know the answer, but I can tell you from personal experience that zombie breath could peel the enamel off your own teeth, boy howdy.

Second, I am not feeling very well today, and I am kind of out of it, so when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was a mini top hat, which I quickly realized it wasn't. But that made my creative juices start flowing and now I really want to pull out my old dental molds and make a mini top hat out of zombie teeth and fake brains.

That's BA! That would be a bomb Halloween decoration, consider it added to my list of Halloween decor I have to make! Awesome idea, kudos!

As part of the safety precautions taken by all Zombie Specimen Technicians (ZST), all foreign matter is removed from the specimen in a careful and extremely hygienic process.  There is a bit of nasty brown tartar in the inside on one of the bottom molars, though.

"Can I have them for crafting?"

and out they went.

These are wonderfully creepy!!  We make mouth guards (on the side) at my job - whenever I go in the back I'm a little weirded out by all the "teeth" lying around.  I might have to quietly make off with a few sets.
