That is absolutely wonderful.  My husband LOVES Calvin and Hobbes!  Of course, he'd go for Calvin's famous snowmen scenes or his lunchtime with the little girl, but he'd love this too.  He has some of the books that have the Calvin and Hobbes comics strips in them and now my oldest son love Calvin too.  I'll have to show them this when they get home from work and school.

Great Job!!!

Looks great, I love it.  I also can't believe how enat the back is.  Great job.

What a wonderful hoop. Even the back looks nice. Mine are never that clean. Great job!

Your stitches are really beautiful and I love the ones you chose.  The seed stitching on the background really adds to it!  You nailed the colors, too.

I'm amazed that you even enlarged the design by hand (I totally would've taken the lazy way out of that one).

Looking forward to seeing more of your work on the Needlework board. Smiley

This is SUCH a good idea!  My husband loves Calvin and Hobbes.  Your embroidery looks really nice as well.  Actually, it's really impressive for a first time. The back of my embroidery still looks messy, but I am working on it.  Yours looks perfect!

That's awesome!  I love Calvin & Hobbes, and this is a great, wonderfully well-done piece.

And I can't remember the last time I saw an embroidery back that was so clean!  Dang, I'm jealous - you did an amazing job!
