This is my first try at some 3D toys. I usually make flat things, so this was going a little out of my comfort zone, but all went well!! My mom loves dachshunds and I had a fabric print with dachshunds. So naturally I would have to make a little dachshund out of dachshund print fabric!

So there you have it! I got that pattern from the book Palm-Size Softies: Patterns and Ideas for 44 Stuffed Pets and Dolls That Fit in the Palm of Your Hand by Hitomi Takahashi, Mikiko Matsui and Akemi Tsubo.

I think its great. I am a member of the South Florida Dacshund Rescue Organization and I would like to make some crafts of Dacshunds to help them raise money.  If you have any patterns I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.
