So my cousin and his wife just had their first baby, and I had made all the other cousins baggies gifts and hopped right on doing one for them. I used a no sew fleece blanket kit that I got on sale at joanns to make these. Owls are one of my favorites so that won me over Cheesy

The tummy pillow with toys attached, great sensory toys. Oh and the color is truer in this one than the blanket

The blanket

They had a lovely baby girl by the way.

Grin I am loving the owls! This is just too cute! I usually crochet a baby blanket for all my new mommies! And this is gonna have to be something else that I try! Now the blanket... was it quilted?

No it isn't, just the two pieces of fleece and some blanket binding. I thought about quilting it but liked it how it was and isn't want to risk messing it up Smiley

Thanks so much so the great comments.

I also forgot to mention that I have enough of the original blanket fleece to make another baby blanket, so it was a great deal for $15, two baby blankets and tummy pillow out of it.
