***Best of 2011!?!?!? THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHA NKYOU!!! I am so flattered and overwhelmed! THANK YOU!

As an almost out of my teens young adult person, it was time to give the bedroom I have had since I was ten a facelift. So after only 4 MONTHS (due to procrastination and life), I'm finally finished. BRING ON THE PICTURES!

Firstly, the glorious before...

I have an innane mount of stuff. No lie, its ridiculous. As a self respecting Craftster, I throw away NOTHING. This contributed in part to the length of time it took me to do this.

Some progress....

I was completely unaware of how long it would take me to spackle my walls. 10 years of nailing anything and everything up that you can will take its toll lol Wink

Anddd after... Smiley

My tufted headboard...I stumbled across this fabric the other...month...and it was the basis for my color scheme Smiley

The glorious yellow closet doors!

Everything you see here I made or re-did! Cheesy The dressers I redid (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=386672.msg4573992#msg4573992 and http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=389455.msg4610284#msg4610284), the suitcase table (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=386684.msg4574157#msg4574157), the window (found on the side of the road! hehe yay for side of the road hunting!), the bedspread (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=390116.msg4618480#msg4618480), the curtains, and the headboard.

Thanks so much you guys!

I have loved and coveted absolutely everything you have posted during your transformation, and how lovely it is to see it all put together. You have a great eye for design.

I agree.  It has been so nice to see the individual pieces as you have done them and now the complete project.  Well done.  Love the headboard and the stars.  Also your duvet.  I have never seen that kind of quilt before and find it most attractive in the texture it adds to the plain white.

that is a glorious & very well done room! So much more grown up than the before pics, too!

I have to say, that nearing 30, my bedroom still doesn't look as neat & stylish, let alone put-together, as this Smiley

kudos to you & all of your projects coming together so beautifully!
