When I started this project I had a completely different finish in mind, but as I worked it took on a life of its own.The same meaning was there, just not to this degree. Or as personal. But everything happens for a reason.

Not to go into too much personal detail, but as a child I was sexually abused. Also was always the "fat" kid. Felt as though I wanted to be invisible, and at times I was. On purpose. This mosaic speaks to all of those things.

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

This is stunning, HSG. You captured movement and also a sense of calmness. I just love it. I hope the process and the final product bring you peace.

Very beautiful! It reminds me of water the way the tiles kind of flow.

What an incredible piece of art. It is so beautiful in its complex simplicity and the way it silently screams self expression.
(Sorry about the double negatives. I just think this is incredible and I think the phrase is "I'm totally blown away" by your piece of art.)
Thank you for sharing such a part of you. You are incredible!

Glad to read that you are no longer invisible!
To the contrary: you make beautiful items, so you must be beautiful inside too.
Great piece of mosaic art!
