I always wanted to make a pair of ruffly bloomers, but the idea of cutting, hemming, and sewing row after row of tiny ruffles kind of put me off the idea. This was my first experimentation with this ruffle fabric I keep seeing. I see an addiction forming, because this stuff is SO COOL.

So here's my two part tutorial that will show you how to make a damn cute pair of ruffle butt underwear. (Or plain butt underwear if youre not feeling ruffly. But ruffles are fun, so dont neglect the ruffles.)

I'm working on a photo version as well, if you're not a fan of video tutorials, but it takes longer to write up so it'll be a while. Cheesy

Cute! Where on earth did you get that fabric? I know I haven't seen it in my area!

I got it from http://rufflefabric.com

I've seen it in a few other places, but not nearly with the selection that site has.

I thought that would be annoying, but the ruffles are fairly obedient. It also helps if you baste them down before hemming.
