I would like to present you with my entry for the Craftster Challenge # 66 Inspired By Nature:

This mountain is hand crafted by layers of paper Mache and is painted with acrylic paint. The trees and waterfall are made of broken glass. The thunderous storm cloud is simple foam board and holographic gift bag bedding.  As you can see in the pictures, the rain cloud is able to rotate and twirl to better add to the effect of a rainstorm.

The concept of this piece is based on some of my favorite things; glass projects and thunderstorms! I figured why not combine my two loves into one! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! It was such a fun project to work on.

If you are interested in seeing more pictures and details on the construction of this project, I have a write up of it in my blog:

Thank you for looking! I'd love to hear what you think about this! Smiley

That's such a creative use of broken glass! Smiley The trees are gorgeous, too.

Why thank you! Smiley I'm hoping to get my hands on some more glass so I can make more trees ASAP!

Wow, that is just gorgeous!  I love the way you mixed blue and clear glass for the waterfall, it looks so neat and stylish, but still organic.

Thank you!! I really wanted to capture the natural flow of a river as best I could. I'll have to try and get a better shot of the bottom near the waterfall. In person, it looks SO pretty and super cool.
