Hello everybody!
I read about this challenge and I got so happy! All handicrafts I do are inspired by nature but I felt I should do something special this time and show it to all of you. So I went to the forest, picked some beauties from the ground and started creating this amazing pendant. So far this is the prettiest one I have created with my brand, I still have to put it to dry and spray something on top but I could not resist to show you the result! The materials are Pine sticks, some moss we removed from the wood of our home (is bad fro the wood even though it looks awesome), hazelnut caskets, birch bark, Reindeer lichen and British soldier lichen.

We love the forest, often we find so beautiful pieces of magic in there that even though people here in Finland doesn't appreciate jewelry made with natural materials, we continue struggling for a better understanding of real beauty, of pure beauty.

Hope you like my pendant, let me know your opinions.

Hugs,

I Love it! It reminds me of a lamp I made with items collected from the forest, but the size and detail make your pendant really special... especially since you can wear it!

This is beautiful! I'd love to carry little pieces of forest with me so I could feel close to nature all the time.

Hi =) The lichen is dried already, I put them in the sauna and dried before hand. The colors will remain like that as far as I have seen in my other pieces. Thanks a lot for your comment

So beautiful and unusual! I love the nut husks, have they been eaten by something (squirrels?)

Hi! thanks for your kind comment, yes! at this time of the year the squirrels are eating all the hazelnuts and not leaving anything for us =) only the caskets.
