been playing around with Donna Katos squiggle beads again Smiley  (tutorial here :http://polymerclaydaily.com/2005/09/23/kato-explanation/ )
i thought others may find it interesting to see how even just altering one variable can change the appearance of a cane.

in this variation both the skinner blend and the white were the same thickness. this gives the bead a more pastel appearance.

this is the same cane but the skinner blend was 3 times the thickness of the white. note how the colour appears stronger on these beads.
detail of one of the focal beads:

3 necklaces:

detail showing clasp:

same cane again (skinner blend 3x thickness of the white) instead of stacking the clay as shown here i alternated the ends to create a zipper cane (whats a zipper cane? try here: http://www.polymerclaycentral.com/zipper_cane.html )
i used slices of the cane to cover an armature of scrap clay to create the bangle.

as always comments and advice are more than welcome Smiley

Awesome!!  I love the subtle mix on the first squiggle.  And holy cow - that bangle blows me away!  It is freaking amazing.

They are really beautiful! I haven't made canes because I don't have a pasta machine yet but pictures like these always make me look for one from eBay.
I really like the colors you have chosen, the necklaces are so pretty.
