Hey guys!

Before I moved I wanted to do something with my ripped up comic books I normally use for corsets since I had far too many to take with me, and so I decided to finally make one of these purses!

I know its not original and theres a million pages out there who do it but I have yet to see one from comic books. Theres many different comics used, Id say half of them are independant comics the other half are xmen, venom, and a few spiderman thrown in. Altogether theres 301 pieces of paper cut!

Im entering this in the made from a book challenge (if it applies) as well.

I ended up making it a clutch purse and just attached a small leather strap I took of a purse I was given and never used instead of making an over the shoulder strap. I dont find them very suiting for these bags, in my opinion Tongue

All c&c are welcome as usual. Thanks for looking!

haha.  Cheesy It's nice to not be the only freak destroying comics. Wink (I make collectors cry. "No collectible comics were harmed in the making of this purse.")

Nice job. I agree with you though. I've carried a few with the shoulder strap and a few with the wrist strap. They make a better clutch than a "purse".

A few coats with a nice sealer makes them a little more durable too, just an FYI.

It's adorable!  I've seen them with chip bags and what not but I love the comic idea.  Great job!    Smiley
