I am so irked with myself!!!!  I picked up two things on vacation for my partner - one of which was going to be a crafted item and  I have misplaced them!!!!  ARGH!  Otherwise, I have 6 items out of my list - none crafted yet though.

Hi all Smiley  I haven't been particularly chatty here in the thread, but I am steadily working on my first package.  Coming along nicely, and I think I have some cool goodies for my partner Smiley

I think it would depend on where you're shipping to and the method you are shipping your package. First class international mail can take 2-4 weeks to arrive, so I'm not sure if that would be a good idea lol
I do have some general shipping baked goods tips! For cookies or round baked goods, wrap each piece individually in plastic wrap then stack them in an empty & clean pringles can!
Also in general individually wrapping each piece in plastic wrap then putting it in a container helps it keep longer and not break as much in shipping.

My Friend Told Me That His Mom Always Puts Bread In Between His Baked Goods. (He's In Iraq.) But I'm Afraid Of The Bread Molding.. lol I Think I'll Wrap Them Individually And Then Put Them In A Tin.

If you have a vacuum storage system or a friend who has one - they are great for things like that (and squishing down things like yarn for making more room in a box.

Oh my goodnes... I JUST got a vacuum storage system last weekend. I totally didn't think of using it for that! Oh my, I think I will have to test this out by sending vacuum sealed back goods to Germany! And I was thinking of skipping on the baked goods for all the same concerns as sweety. Thanks for the tip!
