This is my first attempt at working with fleece and I don't think it turned out badly at all. There are a few technical errors I made, and I'm using a different tequnique for my next hat, which I'm starting in a minute. I think its cute. My dog tried to steal it off my head. Enjoy!

I've been thinking about fleece hats today since it's unusually cool here in TN.  I've never made one.  Yours is cute.

your hat looks great, fleece is really easy to work with i find. You don't need any seam finishes so projects always get finished super quick.

Thanks everyone! I made a second one with a different technique and am currently working on a third one (with another different technique!) I have some plastic eyes, for sewing, and put them in the 2nd one, and am embroidering a face on it. My friend wants some hats for her babies (twin boys!) so  I'm waiting for measurements. (She's insisting on paying, so I'm going to wrap them and give them to her husband for his birthday, I don't charge!)

Fleece is fantastically easy to work with, and the thread is barely visible, so you don't need exact colours. So much fun, so little work! I'm still a n00b to sewing.
