So, I was inspired to make peppermint bark by snappity-snap (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=141963.0&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_campaign=weeklynewsletter) and after checking in with Ina (http://www.foodnetwork.com/french-chocolate-bark/video/index.html) and Emeril (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/peppermint-bark-recipe/index.html), I whipped up a batch.

I added Oreos as well as peppermint because I love them. I microwaved white chocolate chips like snappity-snap, used parchment paper like Ina (draw a rectangle and then flip and fill), and like Emeril, used a sieve to separate my small candy cane/oreo pieces, which were then mixed in with the chocolate, and the larger pieces, which were spread on top and pushed in.
