Hellooooooooooooooo it's been too long!  Cheesy

I like to put stuff here on craftster when I am really proud of  a design so here it goes..

When I was little, every time my mom would take me to the city she would buy me bubbles, back then they used to do just a wrapped wire and the liquid soap was in a Gerber bottle..funny thing is the soap never lasted a whole day.. haa! If you have a kid you know that for sure.

The other day while walking down the street with a friend of mine there was a man selling and blowing bubbles and I told her these exact words "Wouldn't it be cool to have a necklace with a bubble blower and soap, and throw tiny bubbles?" And she laughed and said I have tooo much imagination.

A few days later I was making sketches, not sure if it would work since It was all so little, but guess what it worked! I made just one supposedly for me, but that same afternoon I had 2 people asking me if I was going to sell them.

What we have is on one side a lovely stone.. and on the other side a tiny glass bottle which holds the soap, you use it as a lariat and when the time comes you just pull the little cork and play with it!

Here are other versions I've made using onyx, glass, etc.

I am so happy with them!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Bubbles for big kids..it reminds me of this Dharma & Greg where they are in a couch doing this sort of ritual in which they would tell each other bad things they had done, to each other or someone else, the thing is when they said what they did, with their hands they would pretend to blow a bubble and said they would blow really hard for that bad thing that could hurt them would go far, far away...it's all about the interpretation we give to things isn't it?

This is such a lovely idea and beautifully executed.  I am curious as to how you prevent the little bottle from falling as it looks as if it is held on only by its stopper.  I love the pretty stones you have used because they look like bubbles themselves.  Thanks for all the lovely pictures.

Those are beautiful!  The blowers look like little keys, which makes it twice as awesome.  Now I'm trying to decide if my little sister is still young enough that she plays with bubbles (Or if she's old enough to be into them for a second time) so I'd have an excuse to break out my wire and make a cutesy wand.  (I have one of those GIANT bubble blowers, so I don't think it would be fair to make one for myself.)  Now I really want to learn to solder though. >.<

I wisted this and hit "This Rocks!"  Because it really does!  It's gorgeous, functional, amusing, and it hearkens back to our childhood!  What more could a girl want?
