I didn't until just yesterday when I unearthed my holly hobbie pattern! The doll was made with the holly hobbie pattern and the dress is a self made pattern. The whole thing started with a post here on craftster. When a pattern wasnt posted...well, I searched myself and found one somewhat close to it. And that was Holly Hobbie.  I hope y'all like her!!! Sorry for the bad quality pictures!

Thanks for looking!!

Your doll is adorable!  Her face is so cute!  I love her hair! What kind of yarn did you use?

I do remember Holly Hobby - I was a newlywed in my early 20s - made a doll (probably from this pattern) for my stepdaughter.  I really like your interpretation - your doll is so cute - and I love her hair too!  Cute little dress and nice job all around!!   Cheesy

You know, the more I think about it, I think I may have picked up a Holly Hobby pattern at a thrift store a while back.  I need to check my patterns.  I'm just covered up in various other crafting things at the moment, but I really like what you did with the pattern and want to try it (or one like it) myself now!

Yes, I do remember Holly Hobbie.  I still have the large rag doll that I received when I was little.  I also had a metal lunch box (remember those?) and a small quilted purse w/a small Holly Hobbie doll that rested in a front pocket.  I like your doll, she is cute.
