Here's the second quilt I made using the "city view"
 pattern from Connecting Threads.
This one was for my friend who chose not to find out the sex of her baby.  (Turned out to be a boy - I'm a good guesser!) 

The first time I used this pattern, the scrappy back came out quite a bit larger than the front.  This time I designed by own back.  It is stuffed with recycled comforter filling which makes it VERY fluffy.

Thanks for looking!
It is very soft - the first one I made, I thought I would try machine quilting.  I became really frustrated that I was doing something wrong, because it kept binding up.  When I realized that it was just too thick, I tied it and did the same with this one.
It would be fun to to a grownup sized one to snuggle and watch movies in Smiley
