i am a long time fanatic for yarn wreaths, but never had or made one until yesterday.  i just finished it up and i must show it off.  the pic is a little dark, but here:

yellow and orange yarn wreath with yarn "mums" in deep red, plum/purple, and yellow.  i'm so excited for fall so i can put it out!

still looking for the perfect wide ribbon to hang it with.

I keep seeing these. I might have to get myself started on one. They would be great to keep with the seasons.

I love this!  I just made my first wreath today and had so much fun.  I like how you covered it with yarn - that's what I did for mine and love the look it creates.  Nice job!

tips?  ummm, meticulous wrapping?  i have done several since, and i am pretty ocd about how the yarn looks.  just ball the yarn and set about 20-30 minutes aside to wrap like a mo-fo.
